Can't imagine why that didn't catch on kidding. Half the fun of this amp was playing it loud for a time, then silencing the audio. You could put your ear up to the amp, and listen to the freon in a liquid state trickle across the FETs. Such an intrique and unique sound — like a miniature waterfall.

Reviewed Jul 05th, by blakeusa. Massive machine. Left channel is lovely but right is weak and distorted. I am in the process of replacing all capacitors and find that the service manual has typos. There are two FET boards but parts for only 1 are listed; also some mylar capacitors are incorrectly listed as being electrolytic. Don't take the service manual as gospel; trust but verify. Some complain that this machine eats its power switch. If you're handy, consider installing a Triac to do the switching.

This is an absolutely fantastic amp! Unfortunately not so reliable. In mine both power switch and many solder joints on the power fet boards had failed. Hello, I loved my unit for years. I am now having issues with it. I wonder if you know of any online repair places that you could supply me with.

Replace all capacitors and clean relays also solder all joints on drive boards usually all is fine once done i just did anotehr one and it rocks.
